Hello world!
Welcome to the wide world of agriculture. These comments are created from a farmers/ranchers point of view. We strive to reconnect with the many family consumers that have lost or temporarily misplaced their agricultural connection to our farms and ranches. Today’s family consumers are continually striving to understand how their food is raised, cared for, prepared and delivered to their dinner table.
Today’s farmers/ranchers are both men and women of faith, diligence and patience. They prepare land (soil) and place seed in the soil with a faith that these seed will grow and raise a bountiful crop. They have the diligence to care for these plants as they grow, mature and reach harvest. Patience is required as these seed grow to plants and mature for harvest.
Today’s farmers/ranchers raise and care for many animals much the in same ways as their crops. They continually strive to improve effective use of converting natures forage crops and resources into healthy, nutritious foods.
By nature or due to nature agriculture is a turbulent business. Farmers/ranchers, raisers of food, have little control over their fate as much of their work is being influenced by many different weather patterns.
Farmers/ranchers analyze and plan according to the latest information available, reduce weather and market risk as much as possible. These farmers/ranchers raise food, fiber and shelter for 155 family consumers today.
“Agriculture, manufacturers, commerce and navigation are the four pillars of our prosperity are the most thriving when left most free to individual enterprise,” said Thomas Jefferson our third president.
“There are good men everywhere, I only wish they had louder voices” to quote Louis L’Amour, a novel writer.
